Welcome to SkiTripPlanner.com. I created this website to help people find ski resorts that best match their interests. Other rankings use static criteria and fixed category weightings. The top resorts from those lists might or might not be the best fit for you, your family, or your group.

SkiTripPlanner.com is different, and better. You select what matters to you, and how much. Our proprietary algorithm then matches you with the resorts that best fit your selections. Ski resorts are like people; each one is different, and you will enjoy some more than others. Our mission is to help you find the ski resorts that you’ll love.

I am an avid and lifelong skier. I was a junior ski racer in Vermont and have visited over 80 resorts throughout North America with friends and family.

In developing the ratings for each resort, I considered my own experience, the perspectives of leading outdoor adventure publications, and the aggregated insights from tens of thousands of online user reviews.

I do not work for and am not compensated by any ski resort or ski company. My goal is to make this site as helpful and complete as possible to share the joy of skiing and riding with as many people as possible.
