Pros:

  • Not as crowded as other central Vermont resorts
  • Nice glades (marked and unmarked)
  • Easy to navigate, with all trails funneling down to the base lodge and lifts
  • All terrain ability levels are accessible from the summit, allowing top to bottom skiing for all abilities

Cons:

  • Smaller than other northeast resorts
  • More reliant on natural snow than other major Vermont resorts (but snowmaking capacity has been increasing in recent years)
